Project Life Scrap Book Page 2

This is a very happy page of my one and only daughter who is already nineteen.
This page sums her up and I did not take long to list many of her wonderful qualities.
This is a Hybrid Page combining digital with traditional. I used Stampin Up's "Everyday Adventure Digital Project Life Digital Download Cards." for £13.95 you get 204 Journalling Cards and photo mats under embellishments and a 53-piece SVG Digital Stamp Brush Set.With MDS you can change the colours of them all to whatever you want. How cool is that.
The large flowers are from the Flower Shop Sigital Download which was only released this week and I printed them out large and small and coloured them in with Blender Pens.
i used the Fine Flourishes Stamp Set in Wild Wasabi for the background.

Scrap booking with Project Life and Photopolymer Stamps

Tonight I am having a Scrap and Chat Class at my house and I will be introducing Project Life in Digital Format. Stampin Up very kindly let us get our paws on the Everyday Adventure  Digital Project Life Cards before they launch Project Life in the UK in June or July. The Kit is £13.95 for 53 piece SVG Stamp Brush Set and a massive 204 Embellishments. You can change the colour of the Stamps or Embellishments to any colour you like in My Digital Studio so that means you can match it to your page.
The Hexagon Photo Mat peeping out of the top photo was originally another colour.
You can see arrows, from one of the Show and Tell Photopolymer Stamp Sets, going around the outside edges of the page.
The sentiment and Rabbit were printed from the "Baby We've Grown" Digtal Stamp Set which cost only £3.50. I coloured it in with a Blender Pen.

Random Flower Cards.

One of my favourite Stampin Up Colours is Coastal Cabana. In this card it is teamed up with Crumb Cake.I have stamped with the Petite Petals, Papillon Potpourri, Chalk Talk and Perfectly Penned Stamp Sets.

The above card is first stamped with the white tag directly on top of the Whisper White background using the Stippled Blossoms Stamp Set and then the Rose Red Tag is inserted between the two. I used the Script Stamp from the Background Builders Stamp Set down the left side. The sentiment is from the Sassy Salutations Stamp Set..

This was the last card that I demonstrated at my Watercolour Class last week. This uses the Masking Technique with a piece of paper cut out using a Floral Framelits Die for the Mask. The card was then spritzed with Bermuda Bay Ink before stamping the background with a flower from the Peaceful Petals Stamp Set. The butterflies were die cut using the Beautiful Wings Embossing Folder.

Stamp a Majig Class.

Tomorrow afternoon I am having a Stamp a Majig Class at my house.
A Stamp a Majig is a stamp positioning tool to help you with accurate placement of stamps and for two step stamping.
The first two cards will be made using the Mosaic Madness Bundle and Embossing Folder.
In these cards the Stamp a Majig was used to accurately stamp the image in rows to give a pattern.
The colours in the top card are Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana.
The sentiment was stamped and punched out with the Label Love Bundle which I love!

The colours in the second card are Soft Sky, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake.
The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes punched out with the Decorative Label Punch.

The second Stamp Set that we will be using is the fabulous Stippled Blossoms. This is a two step stamping set. Monica Gale designed the above card for the Traaining Day in Peterborough in April.
The Colours are Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi and Certainly Celery (retired).
The background dsp is from two different Paper Stacks. Real Red and Soft Brown Sugar are the colours.
The bow was tied using some of our 1/8 inch Taffeta Ribbon.
Each of the ladies will be getting one of our Notelets and matching Envelopes to make this card.

The last card again uses Stippled Blossoms and it swings out to reveal a Thank You Greeting inside..
The Wild Wasabi Scallop on the front was made using the Scallop Edgelits Die and the matching Embossing Folder.

Gecko Cards for Tom and the new Stampin Up Photopolymer Stamp Sets.

Tomorrow is Tom's birthday. If you look closely at the top card then you will discover how old he is going to be. I stamped his age using one of the new Photopolymer Stamp Sets that Stampin Up are giving away free this month with every £60 order!
You may have already guessed that he is going to get a leopard gecko for his birthday. He has no idea as initially we said that he could not have one as it seemed too expensive to get all the living quarters etc.
However, a friend sold us a second hand tank for a very reasonable price and tomorrow he will get to choose one from Contact Pets in Blacon.
The Stamp Set is Tag It which will be retiring next month. The colours are Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. There is a small piece of Epic Day Washi Tape at the top and I have used the Starburst Sayings Stamp Set for the sentiment with the matching Framelits.

I got a gecko image off the internet for this card. I coloured it in with Stampin' Write Markers and a Blender Pen. I also stamped on the background with the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in Chocolate Chip and Encore Gold. The sentiment is from the Label Love Stamp Set.
I also used one of the new Photopolymer Stamp Sets for some arrows on the thin strips of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock.

Peaceful Petals Watercolour Cards.

Next week on Wednesday, May 14th, I will be doing a Watercolour Class at my house using the Peaceful Petals Stamp Set.
The above card is called a Triple Layer Card. The base is Soft Sky. I used Pool Party, Soft Sky and Crisp Cantaloupe Ink Pads and a Blender Pen for the colouring.
The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I cased this card from www.stampingandbloggingcom. This time I combined Bermuda Bay with the Soft Sky base. I spritzed the card with Bermuda Bay Ink Refill.

A change of colour now to Daffodil Delight. I cut out the aperture with the Circle Framelits. The Gumball Green Frame is a Scalloped Circle Nestabilities Die that I have had for a few years. It matches the Stampin up Circle Dies perfectly!
The sentiment is from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set as are the two flags at the base.
In the Summer months you will usually see a butterfly or two wherever there are beautiful flowers so I added one using Papillon Potpourri and the Bitty Butterfly Punch.

Lastly a card using a Tangerine Tango Base with some of our Watercolour DSP and more flowers from the Peaceful Petals Stamp set.
Enjoy your day thinking Summer thoughts even if it is raining!

Christian Cards.

A friend asked me to make 40 cards with Bible verses on them recently for students graduating from a Bible College in Greece.
I used the retiring stamp set Secret Garden for the first four.I coloured them in using ink pads and Blender Pens.

Above are some more cards made using the Secret Garden Stamp Set. The sentiments are from various companies including Hero Arts  and Heartfelt Creations.
Once again I have used tropical colours.

Here are some close ups.

I kept the cards simple as I wanted the students to focus on the verses.

The Tulips are from Blessed Easter. The medallions from Happy Day and the flourish from Everything Eleanor. You will also notice some Papillon Potpourri butterflies and a tag from Chalk Talk.

Lovely as a Tree features here with one of the Saleabration Sets next to it called Petal Parade.
The tea pot with roses is a set that I have not used in a long time so it was good to shake the dust off it!
The embossed rose beneath it is the retired Manhatten Rose embossing Folder.

Rev Up the Fun Men's Cards

Above is a Double Circle Flip Card. This is a variation of the one that they did at the Peterborough Training Day last month so thanks to Monica Gale for the instructions!
I used Pumpkin Pie Card Stock for the base and Epic Day This and That Papers with a little bit of Washi Tape tucked in at the sides.

A single Flip Card is showcased above. Pool Party is the colour of the base card with Retrofresh DSP on top. Again notice the Washi Tape to embellish the card.

Gumball Green is the next base colour. I have used the tyre tread from the stamp set and aligned it using the Stamp-a-majig.

The last card uses Daffodil Delight as the base with some Epic Day DSP.
